FAQ

Questions buyers ask us.

About NeuralShore

Is NeuralShore a Databricks consulting company?

Yes. NeuralShore is DLytica's Databricks delivery company. We design, build and run Databricks platforms for enterprises, and we provide delivery pods for Databricks partners.

Which regions do you serve?

We serve clients in the USA, Canada and the Middle East, from our offshore delivery hub with leadership and contracts in Canada.

How do you keep our data secure?

We work inside your cloud and Databricks workspaces with least-privilege access, and apply security controls aligned to ISO 27001.

Engagement and pricing

How quickly can a pod start?

Timing depends on the roles and skills you need. Because our engineers come from a ready, Databricks-trained pool, pods usually form much faster than a normal hiring cycle. We agree a start date in the scoping call.

How do you price Databricks pods?

Dedicated pods have a fixed monthly fee. Staff augmentation uses an hourly rate card, and managed services are priced by scope and SLA.

Can we own the team later?

Yes. Our Build-Operate-Transfer model lets you take over the hub, co-own it, or keep us operating it.

Migration to Databricks

Can you migrate us from Hadoop, AWS, Google Cloud or IBM to Databricks?

Yes. We migrate from Cloudera and Hortonworks Hadoop, AWS Redshift, EMR and Glue, Google BigQuery and Dataproc, IBM Netezza, Db2 and DataStage, and warehouses such as Teradata, Oracle and SQL Server.

How do you make sure numbers match after a migration?

We run the old and new platforms side by side and reconcile results table by table against matching rules agreed with business owners. Users move only after sign-off.

Genie and AI

What is Databricks Genie?

Genie is Databricks’ natural language interface. Business users ask questions in plain language and Genie answers from governed lakehouse data, using the permissions and metric definitions in Unity Catalog.

How do you make Genie answers accurate?

We curate each Genie space with clean gold tables, trusted example SQL, clear instructions and governed metrics, then test it with real business questions before rollout.
